Falling into the abyss
I need to catch myself
Seeing the depths below
I need to grasp the ropes
Darkness hovers clouding my vision
Strength of will calls showing my mission
Letting go is the easy path
Yet not quite the right aftermath
To a life filled with brightness
Gifts, hopes, laughter and rainbows
Breaking free the chains
Tearing off the strains
Delving deep inside me
Freeing the light with plea
Crawl, climb, fly
And stretch high
Like a butterfly in the sun
Flitting back to where it begun
